The impact of teaches skills into their social distance to the people with disability

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce s názvem "Vliv didaktických kompetencí učitelů na jejich sociální distanci k lidem s postižením" se zabývá problematikou vnímání osob s postižením a soci-ální distanci ze strany učitelů k těmto lidem. Cílem výzkumu je zjistit jaký mají vliv znalosti postižení u učitelů na 1. stupni základní školy vůči lidem s postižením. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí, z části teoretické a empirické. V teoretické části se na základě prostudované odborné literatury věnujeme terminologii a vymezení speciální pedagogiky. V následující kapitole je vymezeno zdravotní postižení, jeho charakteristika a klasifikace. V další kapitole nahlédneme do problematiky postavení člověka se zdravotním postižením ve společnosti. Dalším ústředním tématem je profese učitele, vymezení učitelské profese a také kompetence učitele. Empirická část této práce popisuje výzkum, který proběhl na zá-kladních školách v Kutné Hoře a v němž byly dotazníkovou metodou zkoumány sociální distance a postoje učitelů k lidem s postižením. Závěrečná část práce se věnuje podrobné interpretaci výsledků, diskuzi a doporučením pro další výzkumy.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis entitled "The influence of teachers' didactic competencies on their so-cial distance to people with disabilities" deals with theissue of perception of people with disabilities and social distance by teachers to these people. The aim of the research is to find out what effect the knowledge of disability of teachers at the 1st stage of primary school has on people with disabilities. The work consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, based on the studied literature, we focus on the terminolo-gy and definitiv of special pedagogy. The following charter defines disability, its characte-ristics and classification. In the next charter we will look at theissue of the position of peo-ple with disabilities in society. Another main topic is the teaching profession, the definitiv of the teaching profession and also the kompetence of the teacher. The empirical part of this work describes the research that took place at primary schools in Kutná Hora and in which the social distances and attitudes of teachers towards people with disabilities were examined using the questionnaire method. The final part of the work is devoted to a detai-led interpretation of the results, discussion and recommendations for further research.
