Activities of the selected Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic in the crisis period 2020

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá činnostmi Hasičského záchranného sboru České republiky v průběhu krizového období roku 2020 způsobeného onemocněním COVID-19. Analýzou informací z otevřených zdrojů, jako jsou Statistická ročenka 2020 ČR, Statistický přehled činností HZS Olomouckého kraje, zprávy ze zásahů JPO II Javorník atd., byly popsány činnosti JPO I Jeseník v obci Javorník. Bylo zjištěno, že v důsledku pandemie a vládních nařízeních s ní souvisejících došlo v roce 2020 k poklesu počtu požáru a dopravních nehod a nárůstu počtu ostatních mimořádných událostí. Z dotazníkového šetření zaměřeného na hodnocení roku 2020 hasiči, vyplynulo, že hasiči považují rok 2020 za náročnější než předcházející roky. Z rozhovorů s občany města, a to se zastupiteli, členy jednotky sboru dobrovolných hasičů a běžnými občany, vyplynulo, že považují JPO I za důležitou.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the activities of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic during the COVID-19 crisis in 2020. By analysing information from open sources such as the Statistical Yearbook 2020 of the Czech Republic, a Statistical overview of the activities of the Fire Rescue Service of the Olomouc Region, reports from interventions of JPO II (fire protection unit) Javorník etc., were described the activities of JPO I Jeseník in the municipality of Javorník. A decrease in the number of fires and traffic accidents and an increase in the number of other emergencies in 2020 has been identified as a result of the pandemic and related government regulations. A questionnaire survey focused on the evaluation of 2020 by firefighters showed that firefighters consider 2020 to be more challenging than previous years. Interviews with the city's citizens, including members of municipal council, members of the volunteer fire brigade and ordinary citizens, showed that they considered JPO I to be important.
