Study of the influence of various type of polyethylene produced by rotomoulding on mecha-nical properties

Abstract:

Naplní této bakalářské práce je porovnání mechanických vlastností vzorků o rozdílném složení polyethylenů vyrobených technologií rotomouldingu. Kromě závislosti mechanických vlast-ností na složení polyethylenů, byla sledovány změny mezi rubem a lícem vzorků vyrobených rotomouldingem a rozdíly mezi vzorky vyrobenými vstřikováním a rotomouldingem. Bylo připraveno 8 typů polyethylenů o rozdílném složení. Jednalo se o čistý polyethylen RX 102 a RX 102 BLACK 9003 s obsahem cca 25 % sazí, dalších 6 vzorků bylo připraveno jejich míse-ním v poměru 90:10, 80:20, 60:40, 50:50, 40:60 a 20:80. Z takto připravených granulátů byly vytvořeny rotačním tvarováním desky, které byly následně upraveny na vzorky, které byly testovány. V případě vstřikovací technologie byly vyrobeny přesné vzorky bez potřeby jejich úpravy. Vstřikováním byly vyrobeny pouze 3 vzorky. Jednalo se o polyethylen RX 102, RX 102 BLACK 9003 a polyethylen vzniklý jejich smísením v poměru 50:50. Vzorky byly testo-vány mechanickými zkouškami jako je pevnost v tahu, pevnost v ohybu, rázová houževnatost a tvrdosti dle Brinella, Vickerse a Knoopa.

Abstract:

The goal of this bachelor thesis is comparison of different mechanical properties of polyeth-ylene´s samples produced by rotomoulding. As well were explored differences between sur-face back and top by pieces which were produced by rotomoulding technology, next were explored the differences between pieces produced by rotomoulding and injection moulding. There were prepared eight types of polyethylene with different composition. It was white pol-yethylene granulate without carbon black RX 102 and granulate RX 102 BLACK 9003 with amount about 25 % of carbon black. Next six samples were prepared by mixing from these two polyethylenes in ratio 90:10, 80:20, 60:40, 50:50, 40:60 and 20:80. From these granulates were prepared plates by rotomoulding technology. By injection moulding were prepared accu-rate samples. By this technology were prepared only three types of polyethylene, RX 102, RX 102 BLACK 9003 and polyethylene from this two types mixing in ratio 50:50. These pieces from polyethylene´s plates were tested by mechanical tests as tensile strength, strength in bending, impact resistance or Brinell scale, Vickers scale and Knoop scale
