Práca sa zaoberá problematikou štruktúry a dynamiky motivácie k náboženskej činnosti v buddhistickej skupine Diamantová cesta. Zahŕňa nielen charakterizáciu podmienok a príčin, ktoré vedú ku konverzii, ale venuje sa aj analýze dostredivých a odstredivých motivačných síl pôsobiacich počas ďalšej kariéry buddhistov.
