Financial and strategic analysis of the company SK Slavia Praha – football a.s.

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je pomocí finanční analýzy zhodnotit finanční zdraví fotbalového klubu SK Slavia Praha – fotbal a.s. mezi sezónami 2017/18–2020/2021 a výsledky porovnat s konkurenčními kluby. Dále pomocí strategické analýzy vyhodnotit makro a mikro prostředí fotbalového klubu. Finanční analýza je provedena pomocí horizontální a vertikální analýzy a vybraných poměrových ukazatelů. K vypracovaní strategické analýzy jsem využil PEST analýzu a Porterův model pěti sil. Na konci práce je vypracována SWOT analýza.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze and assess financial health of football club SK Slavia Prague from 2017/18 to 2020/21 season and compare the results with rival football clubs. Afterwards, to assess macro and micro environment by using the strategic analysis is other goal of the thesis. Financial analysis is made by horizontal and vertical analysis and selected proportion indexes. For strategic analysis, I have used PEST analysis and Porter’s model of five forces. At the end of the thesis, SWOT analysis has been done.
