Employee sourcing and recruitment in an enterprise

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je vyhledávání a výběr zaměstnanců ve vybraném podniku. Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je navrhnout systém vyhledávání a výběru zaměstnanců ve vybrané organizaci. Teoretická část se věnuje vymezení klíčových pojmů v oblasti řízení lidských zdrojů, se zaměřením na proces vyhledávání a výběru zaměstnanců. Zároveň byla provedena komparace vybraných teoretických přístupů a syntéza dílčích poznatků, a to na základě odborné literatury českých i zahraničních autorů. Tyto poznatky sloužily jako východisko pro navazující praktickou část práce. V praktické části byl realizován smíšený výzkum – polostrukturované rozhovory se zástupci HR oddělení a dotazníkové šetření mezi zaměstnanci, kteří výběrovým procesem prošli. Součástí výzkumu bylo i statistické testování závislostí mezi vybranými proměnnými. Výsledky ukázaly, že společnost má dobře nastavený proces vyhledávání a výběru zaměstnanců, přesto však existuje prostor pro zlepšení. Doporučení se zaměřují na rozšíření cílových skupin uchazečů, větší transparentnost výběrového řízení a efektivnější využití digitálních nástrojů, včetně prvků umělé inteligence. Implementací navržených opatření může společnost zvýšit atraktivitu své značky zaměstnavatele, zefektivnit výběr vhodných kandidátů a posílit svou pozici na trhu práce.

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis is the recruitment and selection of employees in a selected company. The aim of the thesis is to design a recruitment and selection system for a selected organization. The theoretical part defines key concepts in the field of human resource management, focusing on the recruitment and selection process. It also includes a comparison of selected theoretical approaches and a synthesis of findings based on Czech and international literature. These served as a foundation for the practical part. The practical part is based on mixed research – semi-structured interviews with HR representatives and a questionnaire survey among employees who have gone through the selection process. The research also included statistical testing of dependencies between selected variables. The results showed that the company has a well-established recruitment process, but there is still room for improvement. The proposed recommendations focus on expanding target candidate groups, increasing the transparency of the selection process, and more effective use of digital tools, including elements of artificial intelligence. Implementing these measures may help the company enhance its employer brand, streamline the selection of suitable candidates, and strengthen its position in the labour market.
