Teoretická část bakalářské práce se v úvodu zabývá diabetem mellitem samotným a jeho možnými akutními komplikacemi, dále je zaměřena na chirurgickou problematiku u osoby s diabetem (popis předoperační přípravy a pooperační péče u nemocných s diabetem). The theoretical part of the thesis deals, in its introductory part, with diabetes mellitus itself and its possible acute complications. It is also focused on possible surgery-related aspects in diabetic persons (the description of pre-surgical preparation of, and post-surgical care for diabetic persons).
