Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce je problematika řízení diverzity v nadnárodní firmě. V hyperkonkurenčním prostředí je třeba věnovat zvýšenou pozornost a péči zaměstnancům, jako klíčovému zdroji k získání konkurenční výhody na trhu. Práce se zaměstnanci, řízení jejich vzdělávání a podpora spolupráce v týmech zahrnuje řízení jejich diverzity a to komplexním způsobem. Podpora různých individualit v pracovní skupině přináší růst výkonu. Nepříznivý demografický vývoj, včetně klesající porodnosti a zvyšování věkové hranice odchodu do důchodu, zas zdůrazňuje důležitost zavádění managementu věkových odlišností. Dalším faktorem je tlak na rovné zacházení v genderové problematice a to nejen v legislativním prostředí Evropské unie. V neposlední řadě jde o podnik, který v poslední době rozšířil svou působnost do Asie a Střední Ameriky, a setkávání velmi odlišných kultur je třeba řešit vhodnými opatřeními na podporu spolupráce a komunikace mezi těmito kulturami. Tyto různé faktory vyžadují společný, komplexní přístup v podobě strategie řízení diverzity, jako souhrnu dílčích strategií řízení diverzity osobnostní, genderové, kulturní a věkové. Teoretická část práce vytváří pomocí literární rešerše rámec problematiky a definuje odborné pojmy. Objasňuji zde co je diverzita, jaká je historie řízení diverzity a jaké jsou v současné době dostupné koncepty a nástroje pro řízení nejprve diverzity osobnostní, následně genderové, kulturní a věkové. V praktické části jsou prezentovány výsledky analýzy současného stavu řízení diverzity v podniku a následně podány návrhy na změny a vylepšení.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of diverzity management in a global company. In the hyper competitive enviroment is a need for a high focus on the employees as a key source to reach a competitive advantage. The work with the employees, management of their education and support of cooperation in the teams includes management of their diverzity in a complex way. A support of different individualities in workgroups brings an increase of performance. Unfavorable demographic development including decreasing birthrate and increase of the age for retirement, emphasises an importace of the age management implementation. Another factor is a pressure on equal opportunities in the gender issue not only in the legislative environment of the Europian Union. Last but not least the company in question has broaden its activities to Asia and central Amerika. The meetings of the different cultures need to be handeled by suitable tools to support the cooperation and communication between these cultures. These different factors need a komplex approach as the strategy of diverzity management is. The theoretical part of the thesis creates a frame for the topic through a review of literature and defines used technicalities. I explain what diverzity is, its history and current concepts and tools for managing and driving the diverzity in personalities, gender, culture and age. In the practical part I present the results of analysis of current stage of diverzity management in the organisation and then I suggest changes and improvements.
