Abstract:
The purpose of this thesis is to examine the impact of names and naming within the discourse of novel by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman Good Omens. The methodological framework consists of names and naming traditions analysis based on works by Carole Houge, Terhi Aininala and Jan-Ola Östman. Cílem této diplomové práce je analýza vlivu jmen a pojmenování v diskurzu románu Terryho Pratchetta a Neila Gaimana Good Omens. Metodologický rámec tvoří analýza jmen a zvyklosti v pojmenovávání vycházející z prací Carole Houge, Terhiho Aininala a Jana-Oly Östmana.
