Enviromental Activities in the Czech-Saxon Border Region During 1190 - 2010

Abstract:

Přeshraniční spolupráce se začíná výrazněji rozvíjet po politických změnách ve střední Evropě na počátku devadesátých let dvacátého století. Nejintenzivnější rozvoj nastal na česko – německých a česko – rakouských hranicích. Důvodem byla finanční podpora přeshraničních aktivit prostřednictvím evropského fondu Phare CBC. Významným krokem v této oblasti bylo vytvoření institucionálního zázemí přeshraniční spolupráce. V průběhu devadesátých let vznikly na všech úsecích hranice státu euroregiony. Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na specifickou oblast spolupráce na česko – saské hranici. Ekologické problémy zde byly velmi výrazné. Na počátku devadesátých let byly lesy v pohraničních oblastech zcela zdevastovány. Tato oblast získala v rámci Evropy název „Černý trojúhelník. Spolupráce České republiky, Svobodného státu Sasko a Polska při obnově životního prostředí v tomto regionu nemá v celé Evropě obdoby. V současné době je životní prostředí v této oblasti na takové úrovni, že se řada míst stala vyhledávanými cíli pro účely rekreace. V práci jsou pak dále uvedeny některé konkrétní environmentální projekty na hranicích České republiky a Saska.

Abstract:

Cross-border cooperation is beginning to develop significantly after the political changes in Central Europe in the early nineties of the twentieth century. The most intensive development occurred on the Czech-German and Czech–Austrian border. The reason for this cooperation was the financial support of European cross-border activities through the European fund Phare CBC. An important deed in this area was the creation of an institutional backgroundof cross-border cooperation. During the nineties arose on all sections of the state border the Euroregions. This thesis is focused on a specific area of cooperation on the Czech-Saxon border. Environmental issues were very prominent in this area. In the early nineties, the forests on the border areas completely devastated. The area gained in Europe the name "Black Triangle". Cooperation of the Czech Republic, the Free State of Saxony and Poland in restoring the environment in this region has no equivalent in Europe. Currently, the environment in this area has reached high level; many places have become sought as a target for recreation. In this work are listed some specific environmental projects on the border of the Czech Republic and Saxony.
