Comparison of the influence of the knowledge and experience of project managers in the public and private sector on achieving of the objectives of the grant projects

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá výzkumem a komparací vlivu znalostí a zkušeností projektových manažerů na naplnění cílů u dotačních projektů na vybraném vzorku projektových manažerů z veřejného a soukromého sektoru. Práce byla rozdělena do dvou částí. V první části je sepsána literární rešerše, která obsahuje vybrané teoretické znalostní kompetence z oblasti projektového managementu a zasvěcení do oblasti dotačních projektů. V úvodu teoretické části je možné nalézt základní technické kompetence projektových manažerů, techniky a metody a jejich definice dle standardů projektového řízení. Dále se teoretická část zabývá stavem a prvky dotačních projektů, včetně zohlednění fungování dotačního managementu a čerpání příslušných fondů. Druhou část práce tvoří vlastní výzkum, který byl proveden pomocí dotazníkového šetření na vybraném vzorku projektových manažerů. Výzkum je zaměřen na zjištění úrovně znalostí a zkušeností projektových manažerů, jejich komparací a vlivem na plnění cílů dotačních projektů z pohledů veřejného a soukromého sektoru.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis investigates and compares the influence of knowledge and experience of project managers on fulfillment of goals in grant projects on selected sample of project managers from public and private sector. The work was divided into two parts. In the first part is written literary research, which contains selected theoretical knowledge competences in the field of project management and initiation in the field of grant projects. At the beginning of the theoretical part, it is possible to find basic technical competencies of project managers, techniques and methods and their definition according to the standards of project management. In addition, the theoretical part deals with the status and elements of the grant projects, including taking into account the functioning of the subsidy management and the drawing of the relevant funds. The second part of the work consists of own research, which was carried out by means of a questionnaire survey on a selected sample of project managers. The research is focused on the level of knowledge and experience of project managers, their comparisons and their influence on the fulfillment of the objectives of the grant projects in the public and private sector perspectives.
