Attitudes and values of social workers in homes for people with disabilities

Abstract:

Předmětem této bakalářské práce jsou pracovníci sociální péče v domovech pro osoby se zdravotním postižením, jejich hodnoty a postoje. Teoretická část je zaměřena na sociální péči ve vztahu k handicapovaným, její historický vývoj a formování v průběhu let. Dalším bodem je terminologie důležitých pojmů souvisejících s tématem. Důležitým bodem této práce jsou postoje a hodnoty pracovníka sociální služby v DOZP ze sociálně filosofického pohledu. Dále potřebné kompetence, vlastnosti a náplň práce pracovníka sociální služby v DOZP, etické aspekty, problematika vztahu pracovník klient, rizika, psychická zátěž a syndrom vyhoření. Popíšeme také cílovou skupinu klientů a možnosti jejich edukace. V empirické části provedeme kvalitativní výzkum, stanovíme výzkumné otázky a v závěru objasníme, zda byl hlavní záměr výzkumu splněn.

Abstract:

The subject of this bachelor thesis are employees of social care homes for people with disabilities and clients using these services. The theoretical part is focused on social care in relation to the handicapped, its historical development and the formation over the years. Next is the terminology of important terms related to the topic. The important subject of this work are the attitudes and values of social services worker in the homes for people with disabilities from socially philosophical perspective. Furthermore, the necessary competence, characteristics and job description of the social services worker in the homes for people with disabilities, ethical aspects, relationship issues between social services worker and client; risks, psychological stress and burnout. We will also describe a specific target group of clients and the possibility of their education. In the empiric part we will carry out a qualitative research, we will lay down research qvestions and at the end we will clarify if the main purpose of the research was achieved.
