This master's thesis focuses on the relationships between mothers and daughters in the works of female authors writing in German. The first part of the thesis deals with the position of women within the society, women literature and the search for their own identity. Abstract:
Diplomová práce je zaměřena na vztah mezi matkou a dcerou v díle německy píšících autorek. První část se zabývá pozicí ženy v rámci společnosti, ženskou literaturou a tématem hledání vlastní identity. Stěžejní část diplomové práce analyzuje vztah matky a dcery v románu "Nahe Tage. Roman in einer Nacht" německé autorky Angeliky Overath.
