Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na aktivní a pasivní politiku zaměstnanosti a její využití v regionu Strakonice. Analýza trhu práce a vývoj nezaměstnanosti jsou přiblíženy v letech 2004 až 2014. Struktura uchazečů o zaměstnání a analýza státní politiky zaměstnanosti je zaměřena převážně na období 2011 až 2014.Z teoretického hlediska je charakterizován trh práce a pojmy, které s ním souvisí.
