Perceptual and Cognitive Deficits in the Primary School Pupils

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá deficity dílčích funkcí u žáků prvních ročníků základních škol. Mezi tyto dílčí funkce lze zařadit zrakové a sluchové vnímání, intermodální kódování, pozornost, paměť, serialitu a anticipaci, orientaci na vlastním těle a v prostoru a také motoriku. Pro zdárné zvládnutí všech požadavků výchovně-vzdělávacího procesu je nutný určitý vývojový stupeň v těchto oblastech. U žáků se však mohou v dílčích funkcích projevit deficity, které jim vzdělávání komplikují. Cílem diplomové práce je popsat, jakým způsobem vybraní učitelé prvních ročníků přistupují k práci s žáky s deficity dílčích funkcí. Svým přístupem totiž mohou jednotlivé oblasti stimulovat a podpořit tak učení svých žáků.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on the partial function deficiencies in first grades of primary schools. These partial functions include visual and auditory perception, intermodal coding, attention, memory, seriality and anticipation, orientations on one’s own body and in space, as well as motor skills. A certain level of development in these areas is neces-sary to handle all the requirements of the educational process. However, pupils may have deficiencies in partial functions that complicate their education. The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe how picked teachers in first grades approach working with pupils with partial function deficiencies. With their approach, they can stimulate individual areas and support the learning of their pupils.
