The issue of the immigration and asylum policy in France

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Problematika imigrační a azylové politiky ve Francii“ je zhodnocení vývoje, současného stavu a trendů imigrační a azylové politiky ve Francii, stejně tak jako představení základních integračních nástrojů a mechanismů, které ve Francii usnadňují začleňování přistěhovalců do společnosti. První část se zabývá aspekty mezinárodní migrace a představením této politiky na poli Evropské unie. Druhá část se zaměřuje na imigrační politiku ve Francii, její vývoj, legislativní rámec, podmínky vstupu a přijetí i azylový systém. Třetí část se zabývá integrací imigrantů a představuje základní mechanismy zaváděné v jednotlivých oblastech. Náplní poslední části je vyhodnocení dotazníkového šetření, které se zaměřilo na okolnosti migrace respondentů a jejich integraci do francouzské společnosti.

Abstract:

The goal of the diploma thesis called „The issue of the immigration and asylum policy in France“ is the evaluation of the evolution, the current situation and the trends of the immigration and asylum policy in France as well as the presentation of the fundamental integration tools and mechanisms that are making the integrating process of the immigrants into the society easier. The first part presents the international aspects of the migration and the immigration policy on the level of the European union. The second part is devoted to the immigration policy in France, its evolution, legislative framework, conditions of the admission and the asylum system. The third chapter is focused on the integration of the immigrants and the mechanisms being introduced in the different fields. The aim of the last part is to evaluate the questionnaire research that is presenting the migration circumstances of the respondents and their integration into the French society.
