Process audit as a tool of quality in the automotive business

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je věnovaná zhodnocení kvality v podniku zaměřeném na automobilový průmysl prostřednictví procesního auditu. Cílem práce je podat návrhy a doporučení pro zlepšení v této oblasti od nestranného auditora. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. V teoretické části je definován pojem kvalita a zásady systému managementu kvality. Tato část práce odkazuje na řadu specifických norem. V další části jsou definovány pojmy spojené s auditováním a krok po kroku popsán proces auditování. V praktické části je charakterizován podnik, ve kterém je audit prováděn, dále jsou definovány interní procesy podniku a díky osnově otázek normy auditování VDA 6.3 jsou nalezena zjištění a k nim stanoveny návrhy opatření.

Abstract:

This thesis is devoted to the evaluation of quality in a company focused to the automotive industry through a process audit. The aim of the thesis is to submit proposals and recommendations for improvement in this area from an impartial auditor.The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part defines the concept of quality and principles of the quality management system. This section refers to number of specific standards. The next section defines the terms associated with auditing and the step-by-step description of the audit process. In the practical part, the company in which the audit is performed is characterized, the internal processes of the company are defined and thanks to the outline of the VDA 6.3 audit standards findings are found and proposals for measures are determined.
