Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem tělesných modifikací, především dvěma nejběžnějšími v dnešní společnosti: tetováním a piercingem. V teoretické části práce jsou pomocí kompilace i komparace knih či odborných prací zabývajících se tímto tématem zdůrazněny kořeny těchto modifikací v minulosti a jejich proměny a vývoj až po dnešní dobu. This bachelor´s work deals with the theme of body modifications, especially with two which are the most common in our society: tattoo and piercing. In the theoretical part, there are emphasized roots of these modifications in the past, their changes and development till the present.
