The aim of this thesis titled Black Power as an Alternative to the Non-violent Civil Rights Movement in the USA is to analyze if the reactive Black Power movement, which partly based its ideology and program on the criticism of the non-violent movement, could be considered more successful than its non-violent predecessor.
