Ethnic relations in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the first half of the 90s of the 20th century

Abstract:

Cílem navrhované práce Etnické poměry v Bosně a Hercegovině v 1. polovině 90. let 20. století je analyzovat příčiny vypjatých vztahů mezi Muslimy, Srby a Chorvaty na počátku devadesátých let dvacátého století na multietnickém území Bosny a Hercegoviny. V úvodu práce je nastíněno historické pozadí federativního státu Jugoslávie ve 20. století. Ve stěžejní části práce jsou rozebírány etnické problémy v Bosně a Hercegovině a s tím související rozdílné představy o jejím státoprávním uspořádání. V závěru je rozebrán vliv mezinárodních společenství na válečné konflikty v Bosně a Hercegovině a uzavření míru.

Abstract:

The aim of the proposed work Ethnic relations in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the first half of the 90s of the 20th centuryis to analyze the causes of the strained relations between Muslims, Serbs and Croats in the early nineties of the twentieth century on the multiethnic territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The introduction will be outlined the historical background of a federal state Yugoslavia. in the 20th century. In the central part of the work will be dismantled ethnic problems in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the related different ideas about the state arrangement. In conclusion, the impact of international cooperation is disscusedon war conflicts in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the conclusion of peace.
