Abstract:

Absolventskou práci můžeme rozdělit na dvě části. V první části se zaměřuji na vymezení pojmů spojených s otázkou umírání a smrti z pohledu sociální práce a sociálních zařízení. Dále na základě odborných zdrojů představuji Institut dříve projeveného přání a jeho vývoj v ČR i v zahraničí. Ve druhé části se věnuji etickým aspektům Institutu dříve projeveného přání. V práci jsou nastíněné eticky problematické situace, se kterými se v sociálních zařízeních může setkat nejen sociální pracovník. Tato část dále obsahuje návrhy řešení těchto eticky problematických situací. Celou absolventskou práci doprovází případová studie paní Kubíčkové, která se ocitla v sociálním zařízení z důvodu nepříznivého zdravotního stavu a nemožnosti se k následné léčbě vyjádřit. Na základě této případové studie poukazuji na možnost využití Institutu dříve projeveného přání.

Abstract:

The thesis can be divided in two parts. In the first part I focus on defining the concepts of dying and death from the perspective of social work and social facilities. Furthermore, on the basis of professional or scholarly sources, I present the Institute of advanced directives and it is development in the Czech Republic and abroad. In the second part I focus on ethical aspects of the institute. I outline some ethically problematic situations that not only the social worker can encounter in social facilities. This part also contains proposals for resolving these situations. Throughout the whole thesis I discuss the case study of Mrs. Kubíčková, who was in a social facility due to her illness, and her inability to comment on her subsequent treatment. Based on the case study, I point out the possibility of using the Institute of advanced directives.
