Abstract:

Hlavním tématem této absolventské práce je komunita L’Arche pro lidi s mentálním postižením a inspirace, které svým působením a přístupem může přinášet do sociálních služeb poskytujících péči lidem s mentálním postižením. Práce je složena ze dvou hlavních části, tedy teoretické a výzkumné. V teoretické části je popis mentálního postižení, historie péče o lidi s mentálním postižením, různé modely mentálního postižení, jejich potřeby a kapitola věnující se komunitě jako sociální službě pro cílovou skupinu lidí s mentálně postižených, kde je zprvu obecný popis komunity a následně konkrétní popis komunity L’Arche a její přínos. V této části se nachází také popis fází procesu vytváření komunity. Výzkumná část se skládá z popisu metodologie a prezentace výsledků výzkumu, kde jsou popsané kategorie, které v rámci zpracování výzkumu vznikly.

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis is community L’Arche for people with intellectual disability and the inspiration that its work and approach can bring to social services providing care for people with intellectual disability. The thesis is divided in two parts, in theoretical part and research. The theoretical part describes the intellectual disability, the history of care for people with intellectual disability, various models of intellectual disability, their needs and a chapter on the community as a social service for the target group of people with intellectual disability, where firstly there is a general description of the community and then a specific description of the community. L'Arche and its benefits. This section also describes the stages of the community building process. The research part consists of a description of the methodology and presentation of research results, which describe the categories that arose within the research.
