Accounting and financing of non-profit organizations in the specific conditions of the Greek Catholic Church

Abstract:

Téma bakalářské práce se věnuje charakteristice neziskových organizací v České republice v konkrétních podmínkách církví a náboženských společností. Zahrnuje právní úpravu, vznik, zánik a hospodaření církví a náboženských společností. Práce se zaměřuje na financování a účetnictví církví a náboženských společností. Popisuje problematiku financování z veřejných zdrojů, což obsahuje aktuální zákon o majetkovém vyrovnání státu a církví, granty a dotace, a také financování z neveřejných zdrojů, jehož součástí jsou například sbírky a zpět navrácený majetek církvi. Účetnictví respektuje potřebné právní předpisy, kterými se musí církve a náboženské společnosti řídit při zpracovávání účetnictví. Praktická část bakalářské práce se zaměřuje převážně na analýzu účetních metod specifických účetních případů, o kterých účetní jednotka účtuje během let 2021 a 2022, a rozbor financování církve.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is devoted to the characteristics of non-profit organizations in the Czech Republic in the specific conditions of churches and religious societies. It includes legal regulation, establishment, dissolution and management of churches and religious societies. The work focuses on the financing and accounting of churches and religious societies. It describes the issue of financing from public sources, which includes the current law on the property equalization of the state and churches, grants and subsidies, as well as financing from non-public sources, which includes, for example, collections and property returned to the church. Accounting respects the necessary legal regulations that churches and religious societies must follow when processing accounting. The practical part of the bachelor's thesis focuses mainly on the analysis of accounting methods of specific accounting cases for which the accounting unit accounts during the years 2021 and 2022 and the analysis of church financing.
