Domestic Violence from the Perspective of Secondary School Students of Work Safety Laws

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku domácího násilí. Cílem je zmapovat postoj studentů Střední školy diplomacie a veřejné správy s.r.o., oboru bezpečnostně právní činnost na problematiku domácího násilí a na základě toho navrhnout případné změny ve výuce. K dosažení cíle bylo využito metod kvantitativních výzkumů, konkrétně byl studentům Střední školy diplomacie a veřejné správy s.r.o. rozdán dotazník. Zde mě zajímal postoj studentů k domácímu násilí, jaké informace o této problematice mají, jestli považují domácí násilí za závažný společenský problém a jaké vidí ze svého pohledu řešení. Na základě tohoto šetření je zpracována interpretace a návrhy na změny ve výuce. Přínos této práce je zejména v tematizaci problematiky domácího násilí u studentů oboru bezpečnostně právní činnost, tedy budoucích policistů, zjištění jejich postojů a vůle k řešení domácího násilí.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis is focusing on the problematics of domestic violence. The goal is to examine attitude of students of High School of Diplomacy and Public Administration Ltd., program Security and Legal Activities, to the issue of domestic violence and based on these findings to propose potential alternations to the current teaching. In order to achieve its goal, bachelor thesis is utilizing quantitative research methods, specifically questionnaire filled out by students. Primary focus is on the attitude of students towards domestic violence, chat information do the students have about this issue, whether or not they think it is a severe social problem and what they think might help solve this issue. Questionnaire is then interpreted and on the basis of its findings proposals for possible changes in teaching are being made. Contribution of this thesis lies in targeting the issue of domestic violence among students of Security and Legal Activities, future policemen, screening of their opinions, attitudes and wills towards solving this problem.
