Wine tourism in south Moravia and north Austria

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je zhodnotit současný stav vinařského cestovního ruchu na jižní Moravě, se zaměřením na Mikulovskou podoblast. Současně bude charakterizována i rakouská vinařská oblast Weinviertel a na základě provedené analýzy budou v dílčích parametrech porovnány obě vinařské oblasti. Teoretická část práce se zabývá vymezením cestovního ruchu, členěním služeb cestovního ruchu a charakteristikou a specifiky vinařské turistiky. Další část práce je věnována vinařskému cestovnímu ruchu v Mikulovské podoblasti a v regionu Weinviertel. V práci je analyzována infrastruktura cestovního ruchu, včetně turistické nabídky obou regionů se zaměřením na vinařskou cykloturistiku a vinařské akce. Detailně jsou také rozebrány projekty vinařské turistiky. V závěru práce je shrnutí informací a výsledků získaných z komparace vinařského cestovního ruchu v Mikulovské podoblasti a v regionu Weinviertel.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the current state of the wine tourism in the southern Moravia with focus on the area Mikulov. It will be also characterized wine region Weinviertel and both wine regions will be compared on the basis of the analysis according to component parameters. The theoretical part deals with the definition of tourism, classification of the tourism services and characterization and specifics of the wine tourism. The second part of the thesis discusses the wine tourism in the areas Mikulov and Weinviertel in particular. The thesis further analyses the tourism infrastructure including the tourism supply of both regions with focus on wine bicycle tourism and wine events. Furthermore wine tourism projects are discussed in detail. The thesis concludes thereafter with a summary of information and results that arise from the comparative analysis of the wine tourism of the areas Mikulov and Weinviertel.
