Analysis of Approaches to individuals with Perthes' disease with Regard to uality of life and Education of individuals with this diagnosis

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou péče o jedince s Perthesovou chorobou. Cílem práce bylo objasnit problematiku Perthesovy choroby a varianty péče užívané v ČR. Teoretická část se věnuje charakteristice Perthesovy choroby, diagnostickým metodám a variantám léčebného postupu. Nakonec je zde pojednáváno o fungování rodiny a strategiích zvládání nepříznivé životní situace a nakonec teoretická část popisuje systém péče o dítě se získaným tělesným postižením. Výzkumná část směřovala ke zjištění, které přístupy k jedinci s diagnózou Perthesova choroba negativně ovlivnily edukaci dítěte a tím snížily kvalitu jeho života a také, jak zvolená metoda péče ovlivnila život dítěte a rodiny a jaká opatření ve fungování rodiny bylo nutno provést pro úspěšné naplnění podmínek léčby. Dalším cílem pro tento výzkum byla snaha o hlubší porozumění situace dětí se získaným postižením a jejich nejbližšího sociálního okolí.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with problems of care of individuals with Perthes’s disease. The aim was to clarify the issue of Perthes’s disease and variants of care used in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part deals with Perthes’s disease, diagnostic methods and variants of treatment. There is also discussed about family functioning and strategies of coping with difficult life situation and at the end there is discussed about system of care about child with acquired physical disability. Research part aimed to finding, which approaches to individuals with diagnosis of Perthes’s disease negatively impacted education of child and the family and which procuration in function of family was had to be made for successful filing of treatment conditions. Next aim, for this research was pursuit of a deeper understanding situation of children with this disability and their closest social surroundings.
