Perception of women in factories (Vítkovice ironworks)

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem postavení ženy v továrním prostředí a genderovými stereotypy v oblasti trhu práce. Budu se zajímat o jejich sociální status, emancipaci a vývoj pracovních podmínek v období ekonomických a politických změn okolo roku 1989. Práce se bude opírat o data získaná během samotného výzkumu. Teoretickým východiskem mé práce bude etnografie dělnictví a pokusím se propojit stereotypní genderovou perspektivu s perspektivou ženy v sociálním a kulturním prostředí.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the position of women in the factory environment and gender stereotypes in the labor market. I will be interested in their social status, emancipation and the development of working conditions in the period of economic and political change around 1989. The work will be based on data obtained during the research itself. The theoretical basis of my work will be the ethnography of workers and I will try to connect the stereotypical gender perspective with the perspective of women in the social and cultural environment.
