Supporting a Smart Grids Laboratory: Testing Management for Cyber-Physical Systems

Anotácia:

Smart Grids sa stávajú čím ďalej tým populárnejšie z dôvodu ich efektívnosti v dodávke elektrickej energie. Organizácie na celom svete budujú vlastné Smart Grid Laboratórie (SG Labs) na vykonávanie výskumných aktivít týkajúcich sa simulácií a testovania Smart Grid. Kvôli extrémnej zložitosti a dôležitosti inteligentných sietí je testovanie dôležitou súčasťou SG Lab-u. Táto práca sa zameriava na návrh testovacieho procesu pre SG Lab a poskytovanie softvérovej architektúry pre systém, ktorý podporuje tento proces. Poskytuje tiež prehľad o existujúcich testovacích štandardoch a použitie vybranej normy (ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119) vzhľadom ku požiadavkám a potrebám SG Lab-u.

Abstract:

Smart Grids are becoming more and more popular, because of their effectiveness in electricity supply. Organizations over the whole world have built their own Smart Grid Laboratories (SG Labs) to perform research activities related to Smart Grid simulations and testing. Because of the extreme complexity and relevance of Smart Grids, testing is an important part of a SG Lab. This thesis is focused on designing the testing process for SG Lab and provision of a software architecture for a system which supports this process. It provides also an overview of existing testing standards and the usage of a chosen standard (ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119) based on the requirements and needs of a SG Lab.
