Optical characterisation of non-uniform thin films

Optical characterisation of non-uniform thin films
Abstract:
Abstract:
Influence of area non-uniformity of thin films on their optical characterisation is studied, with focus on thickness non-uniformity. Suitable models and parametrisations are proposed for incorporation of this defect into the calculation of optical quantities. Their applicability is verified both using numeric studies and by characterisation of real samples of non-uniform thin films.
