Účelem této práce je analýza minoritních a majoritních kultur ve Velké Británii, jejímž cílem je charakterizovat pákistánskou minoritu a dát ji do kontrastu s hlavními tématy knihy My Beautiful Laundrette, jelikož pákistánská rodina emigrovala z Pákistánu do Velké Británie. Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the clash of minor and major cultures in Great Britain with the aim to characterize the Pakistani minority and contrast them with the main topics raised in My Beautiful Laundrette, because the Pakistani family emigrated from Pakistan to Great Britain.
