Ochrana osobních údajů je tématem rozvíjejícím se teprve od 70. let 20. století. V České republice byl této problematice věnován prostor až po roce 1989. Bakalářská práce Ochrana osobních údajů v ČR – aktuální problémy se po teoretickém úvodu věnuje třem tématům z oblasti osobních údajů. Personal data protection is an issue developing from the 1970s. There was no preference for the personal data protection in the Czech Republic before 1989.
