Tax harmonisation in the European integration process

Abstract:

Annotation TEREFENKOVÁ, Mária: Tax harmonization in the Europen integration process. [Bachelor thesis]. Banking Institute University og Prague, Foreing University Banská Bystrica. Department of economics, valuation, social sciences and law. Supervisor: JUDr. Marian Korytiak. Year of defense: 2015. Number of pages: 59. The bachelo´r project is pointing out the basic out the basic and general frame of harmonisation aspirations in the European Union. The aim is to describe legislative format which influence harmonisation of direct and indirect taxes on the bassis of creating the analysis of integrating processes. The project is divided into two sections theoretical and practical. The author of the theoretical section is focusing on the integrating process of the European Union, hte historical evolution of the European Union, establishing contracts of the European Union and legislative bassis of the European Union – in its first chapter. Then the author is focusing on ofter mentioned fundamental terms, basic law frame of the harmonisation, its historical evolution and current law format. In conclusion there is focus on the influence of the harmonisation on direct and indirect taxes, also there are identifications of the future trends in the proccess of tax harmonatisations, advantages and disadvantages of implementation for the countries in the European Union. The integrating process of the European Union is long term process, which will continue as the tax harmonisation continues in the future.

Anotácia TEREFENKOVÁ, Mária: Harmonizácia daní v európskom integračnom procese. [Bakalárska práca]. Bankovní institut vysoká škola Praha, zahraničná vysoká škola Banská Bystrica. Katedra ekonómie, oceňovania, spoločenských vied a práva. Vedúci práce: JUDr. Marian KORYTIAK. Rok obhajoby: 2015. Počet strán : 59. Bakalárska práca má predostrieť základný a všeobecný rámec harmonizačných snáh v Európskej únii. Cieľom je na základe vytvorenia analýzy integračných procesov popísať hlavne legislatívne úpravy ovplyvňujúce harmonizáciu priamych aj nepriamych daní. Práca je rozdelená do teoretickej a analytickej časti. Autor v teoretickej časti v prvej časti sa venuje integračnému procesu Európskej únie, a to historickému vývoju, zakladajúcim zmluvám Európskej únie a legislatívnym základom. Ďalej autor rozoberá niektoré často skloňované pojmy, základný právny rámec harmonizácie, jej historický vývoj a súčasnú legislatívnu úpravu. V závere práce sa zaoberá vplyvom harmonizácie na priame a nepriame dane, prináša identifikáciu trendov v procese daňovej harmonizácie, výhody a nevýhody zavedenia pre krajiny Európskej únie. Integračný proces Európskej únie je dlhodobý proces, ktorý bude pokračovať rovnako ako daňová harmonizácia v budúcnosti.
