Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou střetu právní úpravy shromažďování a využívání provozních a lokalizačních údajů o telekomunikačním provozu (data retention) s právem na soukromí. Abstract:
This thesis deals with conflict of regulation of collection and use of traffic and location data (i.e. data retention) with the right to privacy. This conflict is introduced in the analysis of the findings of the Czech Constitutional Court. The prescribed regulation of data retention is based on European law, thus the thesis focuses on the situation in other Member States too.
