Hlavním tématem zde předkládané diplomové práce je celospolečenský problém, kterým je diskriminace v zaměstnání. Diskriminace v obecném smyslu znamená nerovné či znevýhodněné zacházení. V práci se zabývám rámcově všemi hlavními důvody diskriminace v zaměstnání, ale zvláště se zaměřuji na diskriminaci z důvodu pohlaví a na rovnoprávné postavení a rozdíly v odměňování mužů a žen na trhu práce. The main goal of this thesis is the societal problem of discrimination in employment. Discrimination in general is defined as an unequal or disadvantaged treatment. In my thesis I deal with all reasons and sources of discrimination in employment; however, I mainly focus on gender discrimination, subject of equality and the differences between men and women salaries in the labour market.
