The Atlas of microscopic invertebrates and the possibilities of their artistic transformation (combined method)

Abstract:

Hlavním tématem diplomové práce je přiblížení problematického okruhu učiva biologie skrze výtvarnou tvorbu. Z mikroskopických bezobratlých organismů vybírá deset zástupců zastoupených v učivu biologie na gymnáziích. Tyto formy zpracovává do výtvarně pojatého atlasu. Výsledný artefakt tvoří digitální tisky variací reálných podob organismů. Práce záměrně propojuje předmět biologie s výtvarnou výchovou a čerpá z tohoto spojení v praktické i teoretické části. Zároveň má didaktickou povahu, která je zpracována v didaktické části. Součástí je výtvarný projekt zaměřený na žáky druhého ročníku gymnázia sestávající z pěti námětů korelující s tématem bezobratlých živočichů.

Abstract:

The main theme of this diploma thesis is to introduce problematic topic from biology lessons by artwork. For this thesis was choosen ten microscopic individuals from all invertebrates organisms which are taught at grammar schools. These forms of animals are used in the artistic atlas. The atlas is the final practical artwork and it is made by several digital prints of artistic variations of these chosen organisms. This diploma thesis connects the biology subject with the artistic one and it uses this connection in theoretical and also practical parts. The thesis contains a didactic part as well, which is focused on the student of secondary class at grammar schools and includes an artistic project based on invertebrates animals.
