Úspěšná transformace letecké společnosti z místní na globální

Abstract:

Moje diplomová práce nastolí téma úspěšné globalizace pro letecké společnosti. Jinými slovy, bude popsáno, jaké strategie by aerolinky měly použít k transformaci z lokálních společností na globální a také jaké taktiky jsou pochybné, aby pomohly k úspěchu. Aktuálnost práce dokládá současný počet leteckých společností, které se snaží expandovat na globální úrovni a stagnace v globalizaci leteckého průmyslu v důsledku pandemie. Tenta bakalářská práce si klade za cíl odpovědět na otázku, co by měly místní aerolinky udělat, aby překonaly obtížnosti expanze a úspěšně dosáhly stabilní a výdělečné pozice na mezinárodní úrovni ve vysoké konkurenci. K dosažení cíle diplomové práce budou použity kvalitativní a případové výzkumné metody. Pro implementaci kvalitativní metody pro výzkum bude vytvořen dotazník, jehož cílem je získat poznatky od pravidelných cestujících převážně z Evropy, kteří často využívají služeb leteckých společností. Realita ukáže, která kritéria mají dopad na rozhodnutí cestujících při výběru letecké společnosti a co udržuje spokojenost s jejich výběrem. Metoda případových studií bude použita k pochopení důvodů úspěchu již globalizovaných leteckých společností. Objeví se informace o strategiích a taktikách, které jim pomohly k úspěchu. Pozornost bude navíc zaměřena i na chyby, kterých se aerolinky při internalizaci dopouštěly a jak se jich vyvarovat u leteckých společností, které pouze plánují expanzi.

Abstract:

My thesis will raise the topic of successful globalization for airlines. In other words, there will be described which strategies airlines should use to transform from local companies to global ones as well as which tactics are doubtful to be helpful in reaching success. The actuality of the thesis can be proved by the current number of airlines that are trying to expand on the global level and the stagnation in the aviation industry globalization because of the pandemic. This paper aims to answer the question of what should local airlines do to overcome the difficulties of expansion and successfully attain a stable and profitable position on the international level within the high competition. Qualitative and case-study research methods will be used to conduct the goal of the thesis. To implement the qualitative method for the research the questionnaire will be created aiming to get the insights of the regular travelers mostly from Europe who are using airlines’ services often. The result will show which criteria impact the decision of passengers in choosing the airline and what keeps them satisfied with their choice. The case-study method will be used to understand the reasons for the success of already globalized airlines. The information about strategies and tactics that helped them to succeed will be discovered. Moreover, the attention will be focused also on the mistakes that airline companies were doing during the internalization and how to avoid them for the airlines that are only planning to expand.
