Abstract:
Diplomová práce charakterizuje problematiku týkající se umírání, paliativní péče a role laického pečovatele. Podstatná část práce je zaměřena na domácí paliativní péči. Obsahem je rovněž kvantitativní průzkumné šetření zjišťující míru povědomí veřejnosti o existenci domácí paliativní péče (domácích hospiců) a názor veřejnosti na poskytování paliativní péče nemocným v posledním stadiu života.
