Předmětem diplomové práce „Basel II“ je rozbor hlavních důvodů vedoucích k novele pravidel kapitálové přiměřenosti a analýza nově přijatých pravidel podnikání finančních institucí. Pozornost je také věnována vývoji pravidel od původní koncepce z roku 1988 (Basel I) až k dnes aktuální Nové basilejské kapitálové dohodě (Basel II). Abstract:
The goal of the submitted thesis “Basel II” is an interpretation of main reasons leading to the new capital adequacy rules and an analysis of this recently adopted regulation. It is also concerning the development of capital adequacy rules from the original concept approved in 1988 (Basel I) to the actual New Basel Capital Accord (Basel II).
