Conflict Situations Between Teachers and Parents of Students from Fifth to Ninth Grade of Elementary School

Abstract:

V naší práci jsme se zaměřili na problematiku konfliktních situací mezi učiteli a rodiči žáků druhého stupně základních škol. Výzkumná část diplomové práce se zabývá subjektivním vnímáním konfliktních situací mezi učiteli a rodiči žáků 2. stupně ZŠ z pozice učitelů. Námi osloveni učitelé základních škol odpovídali na otázky prostřednictvím námi vyhotoveného dotazníku. Cílem diplomové práce bylo, na základě odpovědí získaných od 58 respondentů, vystihnout nejčastější příčiny vzniku konfliktních situací mezi učitelem a rodičem žáka druhého stupně ZŠ. Na základě získaných údajů jsme se snažili analyzovat strategie, které námi oslovení pedagogičtí pracovníci využívají k předcházení těmto konfliktním situacím. V neposlední řadě jsme se také zaměřili na úspěšné řešení tohoto druhu konfliktu. V rámci dotazníkového šetření jsme také zkoumali souvislost mezi délkou praxe pedagogů a četností konfliktních situací během doby jednoho roku, nebo jestli pedagogičtí pracovníci zaznamenávají více konfliktů s rodiči ženského, či mužského pohlaví. Výrazně kladný vztah byl zaznamenán mezi délkou praxe a četností konfliktních situací během období jednoho roku.

Abstract:

Our work was focused on problems of conflict situations between teachers and parents of the pupils on the second grade of primary schools. The research part of the theses covers a subjective perception of conflict situations between the teachers and the pupils of the second grade of the primary school of the point of view of the teachers. The teachers who were inquired by us answered the questions by means of a questionnaire elaborated by us. The aim of the theses was to find out the most frequent causes of conflict situations which had arisen between the teacher and the parents of the pupil of the second grade of the primary school. According to the achieved data we tried to analyse strategies which the pedagogical workers, who were inquired by us, used for preventing such conflict situations. Last but not least we also focused on a successful solving of this type of conflict. Within the scope of the questioning we also studied the connection between the duration of practice and frequency of conflict situations during a period of one year. We were also interested in the frequency of conflicts with female persons and male persons. A considerably positive relation was found out between the duration of the practice and frequency of conflict situations.
