Abstract:
The Master thesis focuses on the prevention of Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia. The theoretical part describes the issue of VAP, including risk factors, causes, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. It also provides insights into the basics of mechanical ventilation.
