Seniors opinion on social services in the region "Rychnovsko"

Abstract:

Moje bakalářská práce pojednává o nabídce sociálních služeb pro seniory v regionu Rychnovsko. V teoretické části je vymezeno stáří jako jedna z etap života spolu s jeho projevy a potřebami, dále pojednává o rizikových faktorech stáří a nakonec také o sociálních službách zaměřených na seniory. Teoretická část vycházela zejména z dostupné literatury, částečně také z mých poznatků a zkušeností z praxe. V metodologické část je zdůvodněn výběr kvalitativní výzkumné strategie a je zde popsána realizace výzkumného šetření včetně identifikace limitů výzkumu. Analytická část práce uvádí výsledná zjištění z provedených šesti polostandardizovaných rozhovorů s vybranými seniory zvoleného regionu, které byly zdrojem potřebných dat. Tato zjištění jsou zde interpretována s cílem zodpovědět hlavní výzkumnou otázku celé práce.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis deals with the offer of social services for seniors in the region Rychnovsko. In the theoretical part the term “old age” is defined as a stage of life and its characteristics and needs are described. The theoretical part is based on relevant literature and partly on my personal knowledge and experience. The following methodical part states the reasons for choosing the qualitative research strategy and describes the implementation of the research including research limits identification. The analytical part features the result findings of six performed semi-standardized interviews with chosen seniors from the relevant region, who were the source of required data. These findings were analysed in order to answer the main research question of the whole thesis.
