Workflow of the company documents

Abstract:

Práce pojednává o workflow, oběhu firemních dokumentů. V úvodní části je seznámení s tím, co vlastně workflow znamená, k čemu se využívá a jeho historie. Dále následuje přehled několika typů workflow systému včetně jejich konstrukce a struktur. Práce seznamuje s metodami, nástroji a technikami analýz podnikových procesů. Přiblíží konkrétní produkt Lotus Workflow, kde jsou uvedeny všeobecné informace o produktu a jehož část je zaměřena na představení vlastního modelování procesu. V práci je provedena analýza současné situace z Generali Pojišťovna a.s. v oddělení Logistiky. Jsou popsány procesy žádanek na vizitky, žádanek na reklamní předměty a výdej kancelářských potřeb. Je zde proveden návrh na optimalizaci dílčích podnikových procesů. Díky faktu, že proces žádosti o vizitky byl v průběhu vzniku této práce také implementován, je možné již přesně zhodnotit dopad zavedení. V závěru je uveden všeobecný přínos nasazení komplexního workflow systému, je zde poukázáno na kritická místa jeho implementace.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the workflow-flow of the firm documentation. At the beginning of the work there is the explanation of the term „workflow“, what it is used for and its history. Afterwards, there is an overview of several types of workflow systems including their construction and structure. The thesis makes readers acquainted with methods, tools and techniques used for analyzing company processes. It describes the specific product „Lotus Workflow“, which contains general information about the product, and a part of which is focused on presenting the very modelling process. The thesis presents the analysis of the current situation in the Logistics Department of Generali Insurance, plc. The processes of applying for notice cards, advertising material and providing office equipment. There is also a proposal for optimising particular company procesess. Thanks to the fact, that the procedure applying for the notice cards was being introduced during my work on this thesis, now it is possible to assess precisely the impact of its application. The condusion of the thesis features the general comprehensive contribution of the applied complex workflow system, and it also points out some critical spots of its implementation.
