Overview of the Banking Products for Corporations

Abstract:

Cílem této práce není jen obecný popis a představení produktů, které nabízejí banky na českém trhu právnickým osobám. Ve své práci se zaměřuji na produkty bank z oblasti depozit, platebních instrumentů a treasury produktů. V první kapitole je vymezen rozsah sledovaných bank na základě jejich podílu na trhu. Podkapitoly první části jsou primárně rozděleny podle bankovních domů, tedy u každé banky je popsána její produktová nabídka. V dalších podkapitolách se informace odkazují na rozsah nabídky předchozího finančního ústavu s důrazem na ty produkty, které konkurent svým klientům neposkytuje. Ve druhé, třetí a čtvrté kapitole jsou zvoleny konkrétní produkty, jejich detailní popis a současně praktické ukázky, které demonstrují pohled managementu firmy na jejich výhody, ať už se jedná o nižší náklady vynaložené na použití konkrétního produktu, jako je tomu především u běžných účtů či platebního styku, nebo o pohled zaměřený na maximální zajištění rizika, které se týká pohybu měnových kurzů, či optimální využití depozitních instrumentů sloužících ke zhodnocení volných finančních prostředků. U některých produktů jde také o zamýšlení se nad adekvátním použitím v konkrétní situaci. Mezi nejčastěji používaná klíčová slova patří bankovní produkt, instrument, klient, výhoda a riziko.

Abstract:

The aim of this dissertation is not only common description and introduction of products which are offered on the market by Czech banks to corporations. My dissertation focuses on specific bank products such as deposits, payment instruments and treasury products. The first chapter specifies the extend of monitored banks on the basis of their market share. The first part sub-chapters are primarily devided according to the banking houses, that means there is described a product offer of each bank involved. Information of the following sub-chapters refers to the offer extend of a preceding banking house with the emphasis laid on the products which are not provided by a competitor. The chapters 2, 3 and 4 deal with specific given products. They bring their detailed description and at the same time practical examples which demonstrate company’s management attitude towards their advantages - no matter if this involves the lower costs expended to a specific product usage (as it is mainly valid for current accounts or a system of payments), or the attitude aimed at an utmost risk provision that concerns the movement of exchange rates, or optimal utilising of deposit instruments which serve the purpose of free financial means assessing. Some products are also contemplated from the point of view of their adequate and specific application. The key words most frequently used in the text of the dissertation are especially a banking product, an instrument, a client, an advantage and a risk.
