Calculation and analysis of profitability of performance in an IT company

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá kalkulacemi a analýzou ziskovosti výkonů konkrétního podniku, který poskytuje služby v oblasti informačních technologií. Analyzovanými výkony jsou člověkohodiny a licence. S ohledem na manažerská rozhodování je analyzována i ziskovost zákazníků společnosti. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, a to teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část obsahuje vybrané oblasti manažerského účetnictví, které jsou dále aplikovány v praktické části. V úvodu praktické části je představena společnost, její střediska a poskytované služby. Dále jsou představeny náklady společnosti, jejich členění a následně jsou navrhnuty jednotlivé kalkulace výkonů a zákazníků pro střediska společnosti. Poslední část bakalářské práce se zabývá analýzou výkonů společnosti a jsou představena doporučení pro daný podnik.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the calculation and analysis of the profitability of the performance of a particular company that provides information technology services. The outputs analysed are man-hours and licenses. The profitability of the company’s customers is also analysed with respect to managerial decisions. The thesis is divided into two parts, namely theoretical and practical. The theoretical part contains selected issues of managerial accounting which are further applied in the practical part. In the introduction of the practical part, the company, its centres and the services provided are introduced. Furthermore, the company’s costs and their breakdown are presented and then individual performance and customer calculations for the company’s centres are proposed. The last part of the bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the company's performance and recommendations for the company are presented.
