Evaluation of the economic efficiency of Queens Store Ltd.

Abstract:

V poslední době trh pouliční módy zaznamenal prudký růst, což přilákalo řadu nových podniků a značně zvýšilo konkurenci. Tato tendence může způsobovat hrozbu pro firmy, které už dlouho působí na trhu, ale zároveň i rychlý růst a úspěch pro podniky nové. Původním záměrem této bakalářské práce tedy bylo zjistit, jak se s touto situací vypořádá společnost Queens Store s.r.o. a další známí prodejci pouliční módy. Hlavním cílem práce bylo posouzení finanční situace společnosti Queens Store s.r.o. na základě metod finanční analýzy a mezipodnikového srovnání s dalšími třemi společnostmi. Jako konkurenční podniky byly zvoleny společnosti Foot Locker Czech Republic s.r.o., Footshop s.r.o. a FRESHLABELS s.r.o, které jsou považovány za klíčové hráče na trhu pouliční módy. Ve výsledku se ukázalo, že je společnost Queens Store s.r.o. finančně zdravým, úspěšným a stabilním podnikem, který postupem času ještě zlepšuje svoji finanční situaci. Při mezipodnikové komparaci je celková finanční situace společnosti Queens Store s.r.o. oceňována jako nejlepší mezi všemi zkoumanými podniky.

Abstract:

Recently, the streetwear fashion market has grown rapidly, attracting a number of new businesses and significantly increasing competition. Such a tendency can cause threats to those who have been operating in the market for a long time, and rapid growth and success for new businesses. So, the original intention was to find out how Queens Store, s.r.o. and other well-known streetwear retailers will deal with it. The main goal of this bachelor thesis was to assess the financial situation of Queens Store, s.r.o. based on methods of financial analysis and intercompany comparison with the other three companies. Foot Locker Czech Republic, s.r.o., Footshop, s.r.o. and Freshlabels, s.r.o, were chosen as competing companies, because they are considered as key players in the streetwear market. As a result, it was found that Queens Store, s.r.o. is a financially sound, successful and stable company, which over time continues to improve its financial situation. In an intercompany comparison, the overall financial situation of Queens Store, s.r.o. appreciates as the best among all surveyed companies.
