Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce „Třídní rozdíly ve Velké Británii“ je charakterizovat britské společenské třídy a jejich vliv na společnost a politické uspořádání. Vývoj tříd a pohledu na ně v průběhu dvacátého století je rozhodující faktor pro současné uspořádání společnosti, a proto na něj kladu důraz v první části, kde popisuji jednotlivé třídy. Jak Britové vnímali a vnímají svůj třídní systém, je naznačeno v celé práci, ale především v poslední kapitole, která vystihuje pohled slavného anglického spisovatele, George Orwella, vztahující se k dramatickým čtyřicátým letům dvacátého století.

Abstract:

The goal of my bachelor thesis “Class Differences in Great Britain” is to characterize British social classes and their influence on society and politics. The development of classes during the twentieth century is very important for the present structure of society. Therefore, in the first part the individual class development is focused on in connection with the past. How the British themselves have viewed their own system is reflected in the whole work, but more specifically in the last chapter, which represents an opinion of famous English writer George Orwell, concerning the dramatic 1940s.
