The typology of children's families in residental centers of education care

Abstract:

Cílem práce s názvem „Typologie rodin dětí v pobytových střediscích výchovné péče“ bylo vytvoření typologie rodin, jejichž děti se stávají klienty pobytových částí středisek výchovné péče a jejich nejčastější problémy. Text je strukturován do dvou částí, teoretické a empirické. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny pojmy, jako je rodina, dysfunkční rodina a její typy a dále je zde popsána problematika nevhodných výchovných stylů a nejčastějších výchovných problémů. Jsou zde stručně popsány instituce, na které se mohou obrátit rodiče dětí s výchovnými problémy a celá jedna kapitola je věnována charakteristice středisek výchovné péče, jejich legislativě, struktuře, cílům a metodám práce. Empirická, kvantitativně orientovaná část byla vytvořena pomocí analýzy dokumentů a jejím cílem bylo vytvořit typologii rodin dětí, které se stávají klienty středisek výchovné péče, zjistit ekonomické podmínky těchto rodin, problémy, které se v těchto rodinách vyskytují a výchovné problémy, díky kterým klienti pobyt ve středisku výchovné péče absolvovali.

Abstract:

The aim of the submitted bachelor thesis named “The typology of children’s families in residential centers of educational care” was to create a typology of families, whose children become clients of the residential parts of centers of educational care, and their most common problems. The textual matter is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part defines a number of terms, such as family, dysfunctional family and its variants. Furthermore, it depicts the issue of unsuitable educational manners and the most common educational problems. The text briefly describes institutions that allow parents of children with educational problems to come to them. A whole chapter deals with the characteristics of the centers of educational care and their legislation, structure, aims and working methods. The empirical, quantitatively oriented part was formed by a thorough analysis of diverse documents and its main aim was to create a typology of families, whose children become clients of the residential parts of centers of educational care. Secondly, the aim was to trace economical circumstances of such families, troubles occurring in them and educational problems leading to the clients to be submitted to the care of centers of educational care.
