Project to Increase the Occupancy of the Hotel ALEXANDRIA **** Spa & Wellness Hotel Based on Organizing a Special Events

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na vytvoření speciálních akcí v hotelu ALEXANDRIA**** Spa & Wellness hotel. První část diplomové práce obsahuje literární rešerši z oblasti hotelnictví, ubytovacích služeb a stravovacích služeb. Tato část obsahuje také klasifikaci cestovního ruchu. V dalším bodu první části práce jsou představeny wellness hotely, jejich historie, služby a klasifikace. Zmíněn je také event marketing, jeho podstata a aktuální trendy. Ve čtvrtém bodu jsou popsány metody průzkumu, které budou použity v praktické části diplomové práce. Cílem analytické části byla analýza současného stavu v hotelu ALEXANDRIA**** Spa & Wellness hotel, současný stav nabídky a poskytovaných služeb. Jsou zde uvedena data současného stavu obsazenosti hotelu, je proveden marketingový mix, PEST analýza, Porterova analýza pěti konkurenčních sil a SWOT analýza. Dále byla provedena analýza hotelové konkurence ve městě Luhačovice. V této práci byl využit kvantitativní výzkum v podobě dotazníkového šetření. Poslední částí diplomové práce je část projektová. Jsou zde uvedeny cíle projektu, stanovena strategie projektu a navrženy speciální akce. V posledním bodu projektové části je provedena analýza zhodnocení výsledků projektu, naplnění cíle projektu a závěrečné shrnutí.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on creating a special events in the hotel ALEXANDRIA **** Spa & Wellness hotel. The first part of the diploma thesis contains literary research in the hotel sectors, accommodation services and catering services. This section also contains a classification of tourism. The next point of the work in the first part presents wellness hotels, their history, services and classification. Event marketing, its principles and current trends are also mentioned. The fourth point describes the research methods that will be used in the practical part of the thesis. The aim of the analytical part was the analysis of the current state of the hotel ALEXANDRIA **** Spa & Wellness hotel, the current state of the offer and provided services. There are data on the current state of hotel occupancy, a marketing mix, PEST analysis, Porter's five forces analysis and SWOT analysis. Furthermore, an hotels analysis of the competition in the town Luhačovice was performed. Quantitative research in the form of a questionnaire survey was used in this work. The last part of the diploma thesis is the project part. The goals of the project are stated, the project strategy is set and a special actions is proposed. In the last point of the project part, an analysis of the evaluation of the project results, fulfillment of the project goal and a final summary are performed.
