Pesticidy jsou již mnoho let nedílnou součástí konvenčního zemědělství. Skladba používaných látek se za posledních 50 let výrazně změnila a nebezpečné látky byly v mnoha případech zakázány, přesto všechno mohou rezi-dua pesticidů stále představovat jistá rizika. Pesticides have been an integral part of conventional agriculture for many years. The composition of the substances used changed significantly over the last 50 years, and dangerous substances have been banned in many cases, yet all pesticide residues can still pose certain risks.
