Analysis of railway companies customers satisfaction

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá spokojeností cestujících v osobní železniční dopravě na trase Praha–Ostrava. Teoretická část se mimo jiné věnuje procesu liberalizace osobní železniční dopravy v ČR, která umožnila vstup soukromých dopravců na tuto trať. V souladu se stanoveným cílem bylo navrženo a provedeno terénní dotazníkové šetření na palubách vlaků společností České dráhy, RegioJet a Leo Express. Výsledky byly vhodně doplněny metodami vícekriteriální a statistické analýzy WSA, TOPSIS a ANOVA, s jejichž pomocí byly zodpovězeny stanovené výzkumné otázky.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with passenger satisfaction in passenger rail transport on the route Prague-Ostrava. The theoretical part, among other things, is devoted to the process of liberalization of passenger rail transport in the Czech Republic, which enabled the entry of private carriers on this line. In accordance with the set goal, a field survey was designed and carried out on board the trains of České dráhy, RegioJet and Leo Express. The results were suitably supplemented by the methods of multicriteria and statistical analysis WSA, TOPSIS and ANOVA, with the help of which the established research questions were answered.
